Description : All the casts were collected by Sir John Soane (1753-1837) and are displayed in his own house and Museum in a picturesque ans inspirational manner. His own arrangements are preserved as they were left at the time of his death and the casts are displayed amongst other items including Antiques marbles, Antique and Neo-Classical sculptures, Egyptian antiquities, architectural models and other items (H.Dorey).
